Our commitment to a safe, inclusive environment

Purpose

Level Up 2026 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.

Expected Behavior

  • Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
  • Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
  • Alert community organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
  • Participate in an authentic and active way. In doing so, you contribute to the health and longevity of this community.

Unacceptable Behavior

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Enforcement

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, event organizers retain the right to take any actions to keep the event a welcoming environment for all participants. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

Reporting & Contact

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible. You can report incidents to the Organizing Committee directly at the venue or by emailing our designated incident response line:

You can call us via an admin in the delegate group on WhatsApp

When taking a personal report, our staff will ensure you are safe and cannot be overheard. They may involve other event staff to ensure your report is managed properly. Once safe, we'll ask you to tell us about what happened.
