Team Details

• Player 1 is the team leader who fills the form.
• Remaining players are named Player 2 onwards.
• A single text section is provided in the ticket form to add coach and reserve player/s details.

Finals & Semi-Finals

• PC Finals will be conducted Fully Online.
• Event date for PC Finals is May 17th.

General Rules

• Prior to participation, every participant must read, understand, and agree to these rules. These rules establish a contract between each participant and the Night Serpent Organising Committee.
• To compete, players must be over the age of sixteen (16) and not blacklisted from previous Levelstair tournaments.
• Administrators and board members of Levelstair, Rororact UCSC, CSSL, or related individuals are not permitted to participate.

• 1. Tournament Format & Structure
• Bracket System: The tournament operates on a Double Elimination bracket. Losing a match in the Upper Bracket drops the team to the Lower Bracket. A second loss in the Lower Bracket results in permanent elimination.
• Match Series: Group Stage matches will be played as a Best of 1 (BO1). Semi Finals and Finals will be played as a Best of 3 (BO3).
• Platform Restrictions: PC and Console platforms are allowed. However the use of any adaptors or spoofing devices to simulate controller input with a keyboard and mouse is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
• 2. Team Rosters & Coaching
• Roster Size: Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 game. Each team must consist of exactly 6 main players. Teams may register up to 1 official substitute and 1 coach OR 2 official substitutes and no coach.
• Roster Lock: Once the tournament begins all rosters are locked. No new players can be added.
• Account Integrity: All players must compete using their registered game accounts. Account sharing or ringing is strictly prohibited.
• 3. Lobby Settings & Drafting
• All official matches must be played in a Custom Game lobby with the following settings enabled:
• Join Access: Invitation Only
• Spectator Access: No Spectating (Coaches must use the designated Coach slots)
• Ban and Pick Settings: Tournament (Basic)
• Pause Permissions: Enabled for player and coach
• Server: The designated regional server agreed upon by the tournament admins
• 4. Game Modes & Map Veto Process
• The tournament utilizes the three core competitive modes: Domination, Convoy and Convergence.
• Best of 1 (BO1) Group Stages:
• The map and game mode will be randomly generated by the tournament admins from the competitive map pool before the match begins.
• The higher seeded team will choose their starting side (Attacker or Defender).
• Best of 3 (BO3) Semi Finals & Finals:
• The higher seeded team chooses to be Team A or Team B.
• Team A picks Map 1 (Team B chooses starting side).
• Team B picks Map 2 (Team A chooses starting side).
• Team A picks Map 3 (Team B chooses starting side).
• Maps picked must cycle through the three core game modes so no mode is played twice.
• 5. Heroes & In Game Rules
• Hero Restrictions: All currently released heroes are permitted. However any hero or major rework released globally within 14 days of the tournament start date will be automatically restricted from play.
• Hero Bans: The Tournament draft system will be used. Captains will take turns banning heroes before the match begins according to the in game prompt.
• 6. Match Procedures & Active Moderation
• Hosting & Organization: The tournament hosts (Levelstair & CSSL Rotaract) will organize all matches and create the private lobbies to ensure competitive settings are correct.
• Live Monitoring & Recording: All games will be recorded by the hosts to ensure fair play. Tournament admins will actively monitor the matches.
• Game of Record: A Game of Record is established once an attack lands, line of sight is made or 1 minute has passed.
• Technical Pauses: Each team is permitted one Pause per match in the event of a disconnection or hardware malfunction. Pauses may last no longer than 5 minutes.
• 7. Competitive Integrity & Exploits
• Cheating & Unauthorized Software: The use of any cheats, aimbots, wallhacks or unauthorized third party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Any player or team found violating this rule will face immediate disqualification and permanent blacklisting from all future Levelstair and CSSL Rotaract events.
• Game Exploits: The intentional use of known bugs or map exploits will result in an immediate map forfeit.
• Ghosting & Stream Sniping: Players and coaches are forbidden from watching live broadcasts of their match or receiving outside information.
• 8. Punctuality, Disputes & Conduct
• Punctuality: Teams have a 10 minute grace period from the scheduled match time. Failure to field a full 6 player roster within this time results in an automatic forfeit.
• Disputes & Complaints: If a team wishes to raise a dispute regarding fair play or rule breaks the Team Captain must directly contact the designated Marvel Rivals in charges with clear video or screenshot proof. The administration team will review the evidence and handle the situation.
• Sportsmanship: Extreme toxicity, racism or hate speech will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Failure to adhere to the rules may lead to disciplinary actions including match forfeitures, loss of prizes, fines, or disqualification.
